2025-11-14 Industry-university-research integration | Exploring the Mona Lisa Group
Recently, Professor Song Wenwen from the Color Research Institute of Tsinghua University's Art and Science Research Center, Professor Liu Donglei from Tsinghua University's Academy of Fine Arts, and Professor Qiu Lixin from the Color Design and Application Laboratory of Tsinghua Qingdao Institute of Art and Science Innovation visited Mona Lisa Group Co., Ltd. with the theme of "Industry Link and Design Empowerment", and conducted a deep level exchange activity on topics such as brand positioning, spatial aesthetics, and color matching. This event provides solid academic support for the upgrading of the product system and brand aesthetics of the "Wuji · Shijie" series, from production line to design methods, from color research to spatial aesthetics. It is an important practice of collaborative innovation between industry, academia and research.

The "Boundless Stone Realm" series
· On site visit: the foundation of perceiving a sense of sophistication from the details of craftsmanship
The teachers visited the Mona Lisa ceramic tile production workshop on site and conducted detailed research on key aspects such as raw material selection, manufacturing process, and surface treatment. By closely observing the performance of production equipment and materials, the system can understand the technical path of ceramic tiles in color control, texture presentation, and process stability.

Through visual and tactile comparisons of multiple products, experts believe that the high-end feel presented by the "Wuji · Shijie" series does not come from decorative stacking, but from the natural expression of material texture, precise control of process parameters, and aesthetic grasp of white space scale. The deep integration of rational manufacturing and sensory aesthetics in products provides the foundation for the formation of unique qualities.

· Strategic Consensus: From Advanced Manufacturing to Brand Leadership
After gaining a deeper understanding of the production system, both parties conducted discussions and exchanges on brand strategy and design system construction. The discussion was chaired by Xiao Libiao, Chairman and President of Mona Lisa Group, and Deng Qitang, Director and Vice President of the Group Co., Ltd.
The teachers have provided suggestions on the product structure, color scheme composition, and spatial adaptation of "Wuji · Shijie" from the perspectives of color research, material aesthetics, and texture matching. Teachers unanimously believe that the core of high-value products lies not in the stacking of appearance forms, but in how the product coordinates color, material, and texture to enable users to feel spiritual order, comfort, and taste in the spatial experience.

· Aesthetic Sharing: Building the Color Language and Design Methods of the Boundless Stone Realm
At the "Boundless Stone Realm" Design Aesthetics Symposium. The two teachers' sharing, which is both rich in theoretical depth and practical guidance, further provides academic empowerment for enterprise design teams.

This sharing is based on the Norman emotional design theory as the core framework, focusing on the experiential research of ceramic tile color in sensory, functional, and spiritual aspects, with the aim of deepening the exploration of the emotional value of color design through scientific methods. This is not only an innovative practice of integrating industry, academia and research, but also an important step in promoting the ceramic tile industry from technology driven to emotional driven, and from decorative expression to spiritual resonance.
Teacher Song Wenwen combined the product color scheme case of "Wuji · Shijie" to analyze the emotional expression and spatial application logic of different colors on site, providing the design team with practical creative ideas and aesthetic methodologies.

Based on the practical application of interior design methodology, Professor Liu Donglei deeply analyzes the key points of the combination of material texture and design aesthetics from the perspective of spatial adaptation logic, providing designers with guidance that combines professionalism and practicality.

·Creating the Future Together: Driving Brand Growth with Design Aesthetics
The main theme of this event is "visit discussion empowerment sharing", forming a closed-loop communication mode from the production end, design end to the strategic end. Through in-depth interaction between industry, academia, and research, professional support has been provided for the Mona Lisa "Boundless Stone Realm" series in terms of product design system, color aesthetics construction, and future spatial strategies.
